    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Chapter 151 of the Thief River Falls City Code, that the City of Thief River Falls has submitted a Preliminary Plat of Nopers Fifth Addition for review and approval by the City of Thief River Falls. The property is legally described as follows:
    Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 154 North, Range 43 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Pennington County, Minnesota is described as follows:
    Commencing at the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 05 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the west line of said Northeast Quarter, a distance of 1493.67 feet, more or less to the intersection of the said west line and the westerly extension of the south line of a parcel described in Document No. 148205 as recorded in the Office of the County Recorder in and for the County of Pennington, State of Minnesota the same being the point of beginning; thence North 88 degrees 43 minutes 01 second East, along the south line of said parcel described in Document No. 148205, a distance of  790.28 feet, more or less to the southeasterly corner of said parcel; thence North 88 degrees 31 minutes 26 seconds East, along the south line of parcel number 201 as platted on MNDOT Right of Way Plat No. 57-8, a distance of 503.67 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of said parcel number 201; thence South 04 degrees  32 minutes 02 seconds West 311.43 feet; thence South 00 degrees 28 minutes 48 seconds West, a distance of 165.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 31 minutes 12 seconds West a distance of 1267.12 feet, more or less to the intersection with the said west line; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 05 seconds West, along the said west line, a distance of 434.16 feet, more or less to the point of beginning.
    Said parcel contains 13.31 acres, more or less, and is subject to easements, restrictions, or reservations of record, if any.
    Notice is further given that the Planning Commission will conduct a Hearing on the Preliminary Plat at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 405 Third Street East, Thief River Falls, MN  56701. All persons wishing to comment on the Preliminary Plat will have the option to be heard at this time. Persons who wish to submit written comments prior to the Hearing or who have questions should address them to the office of the Community Services Director, City Hall, P.O.
