Results are in from last night’s Minnesota primaries.

In Polk County District three commissioner Bill Montague did not run for reelection and five candidates were vying for two spots on the November general election ballot. Nick Nicholas and Dean Adams secured the most votes.

In Polk County district five incumbent Don Diedrich of rural warren was challenged by two East Grand Forks Residents. Gust had the most votes. Both he and Diedrich will advance to the general election ballot.

Voters also approved nearly $500,000 in bonds for the Warroad School District to upgrade the school facilities.
