The Northland Community and Technical College Foundation will host the 2nd Annual Pioneer Run 5k & 10k Run, Walk, & Roll on Saturday, September 15, 2012. The Pioneer Run will be held on the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College (Northland). The event, featuring both a 5k and 10k course, is being planned for both the serious runner, as well as the family. Everyone is encouraged to attend and either walk, run, or rollerblade. Parents with strollers are welcome! Please no bicycles. The Pioneer Run will also feature free t-shirts and door prizes for participants. Free water will be given to contestants by Digi-Key.
Pre-registration costs are:
• $20 per individual
• $35 per family
• $5 for current Northland Community & Technical College students
• Free for everyone 12 years old and younger
Day of event registration costs are:
• $25 per individual
• $40 per family
• $5 for current Northland Community & Technical College students
• Free for everyone 12 years old and younger
The schedule for the day’s event is:
• 9:00 a.m. check-in and registration
• 10:00 a.m. Pioneer Run begins
• 11:15 a.m. free lunch provided to participants
• 11:30 a.m. awards ceremony
Participants will be granted free admission to the Northland Pioneer women’s volleyball game at noon.
