Tagovailoa threw three touchdown passes, including a 41-yard, game-winning strike to DeVonta Smith in OT. It’s the Crimson Tide’s fifth national title under head coach Nick Saban.
Minneapolis, MN) – Andrew Wiggins dropped in 25 points and Jimmy Butler netted 21 as the Timberwolves crushed the Cavaliers 127-99 at the Target Center. Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolves, who have won two in-a-row and four-of-six. Taj Gibson had 16 points and 13 boards in the victory. The Wolves host Russell Westbrook and the Thunder tomorrow.

Minnesota will then visit Chicago tomorrow before returning home for four games starting Saturday against Winnipeg. The Wild are 22-17-and-3 on the season after a 7-2 loss in Colorado this past Saturday. The Flames have won three straight to improve to 21-16-and-4.
(Minneapolis, MN) – The Vikings are gearing up for their showdown with the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs this Sunday at US Bank Stadium. The Saints knocked off the Carolina Panthers 31-26 to advance. The Vikes beat the Saints 29-19 at home in Week One. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons in the other NFC divisional match-up.
(Minneapolis, MN) – The Golden Gophers hit the road to face Northwestern tomorrow night in Illinois. Minnesota had its five-game winning streak snapped with a 75-71 home loss to Indiana on Saturday. The Gophers fell to 13-and-4 on the year and 2-and-2 in Big Ten play. The Wildcats sit at 10-and-7 and 1-and-3.
