(Eden Prairie, MN) – Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is back with the team nearly 15 months removed from suffering a dislocated knee and torn ACL. The Vikings activated Bridgewater yesterday and placed quarterback Sam Bradford on injured reserve. Bridgewater has been practicing for three weeks and hasn’t suffered any medical setbacks. Case Keenum will continue starting with Bridgewater serving as his backup until he is ready. The first-place Vikings visit the Washington Redskins this Sunday.
(Oakland, CA) – The Warriors didn’t need Kevin Durant to blowout the Timberwolves, 125-101, at ORACLE Arena. Minnesota was close before allowing the Warriors to explode for a 44-point third quarter. All five T’wolves starters scored in double figures. Andrew Wiggins had a team-high 17 points. Minny is 7-and-4 and continue its three-game west coast road trip Saturday in Phoenix.
(Toronto, Ontario) – Frederik Andersen made 35 stops and Connor Brown had a goal and an assist as the Maple Leafs downed the Wild 4-2 in Toronto. Jason Zucker [[ ZOOK-er ]] scored both Minnesota goals, the second trimming the lead to 2-1 with five minutes left. Eric Staal assisted on both. The Wild have lost three straight. Minnesota resumes their four-game road swing tonight in Montreal.
