(Los Angeles, CA) – All five Timberwolves’ starters scored in double-figures as they closed out the Clippers 113-107 in Los Angeles. Karl-Anthony Towns led the charge with 21 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four blocks for the T’wolves. Jamal Crawford added 11 points off the bench against his former team. Minnesota led by as many as 19 in the second half. The Wolves open up a five-game homestand on Sunday against Dallas.
(Anaheim, CA) – The Wild resume their three-game California road trip tomorrow night in Anaheim against the Ducks. Minnesota opened the trek with a 5-2 loss to the Kings in LA on Tuesday. The Wild sit at 13-11-and-3 on the year. The Ducks are 12-11-and-6 after last night’s win over Ottawa.
(Minneapolis, MN) – The Vikings continue to prepare for their visit to Carolina on Sunday to play the Panthers. The Vikes can clinch the NFC North Division title with a win. Minnesota ran its winning streak to eight straight with a 14-9 victory in Atlanta this past Sunday. The Vikings are 10-and-2, four games ahead of both the Packers and Lions. The Panthers hold the second wild card in the NFC at 8-and-4.
(Fayetteville, AR) – The 15th-ranked Golden Gophers hit the road on Saturday to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville. Minnesota has lost two of three following Tuesday’s 78-68 setback at Nebraska. The Gophers are now 8-and-2 on the season including 1-and-1 in Big Ten play. The Razorbacks sit at 6-and-2.
